Our Story
Built for the Families the Big Centres Miss
TUITION CENTER plants its flag as the only Singapore tuition brand that pairs transparent, MOE-aligned teaching with visible, trackable progress — giving mainstream families the grade results of a premium centre without the premium-brand intimidation or opaque pricing.
TUITION CENTER started from a straightforward observation: Singapore's two most visible tuition brands were pulling in opposite directions. One led with grade anxiety and achievement metrics. The other wrapped itself in prestige and polished open-house events. Neither was speaking plainly to the majority of families who simply wanted a good teacher, a fair price, and some reassurance that their child was moving forward.
We set out to build the centre we would have wanted as parents ourselves — one where fees are published openly, tutors are full-time professionals, and progress is reported in writing every four weeks rather than revealed only at exam time. MOE-aligned from the start, covering PSLE through A-Level, and deliberately local in how we operate: neighbourhood-accessible, not just island-branded.
Singapore's private tuition market is now worth around S$1.4 billion. Demand is not the problem. Trust is. We exist to earn it — one progress report, one honest conversation, one family at a time.
“We wanted a centre where a parent could land on the homepage, see the fee, trust the tutor, and book a trial in under five minutes — without having to chase anyone for answers.”
Transparent
Fees, class sizes, and tutor credentials are published openly — parents should not have to enquire before knowing what they are paying for.
Accountable
Every student receives a written progress report every four weeks so families can see exactly where improvement is happening.
Accessible
We serve mainstream Singapore families, not just those chasing trophy grades — our pricing and communication reflect that.
Qualified
All tutors are full-time educators; many hold prior MOE classroom experience and are matched to students by subject and level.
Local
We write lesson plans to the current MOE syllabus and locate our centres where families actually live — not just in premium postal districts.
